I’m Justin Dolan, an artist born and raised in Houston, Texas. My journey in art began at a young age and flourished through years of dedicated study and practice. Throughout elementary and high school, I earned major awards through Scholastic Art and Writing, had the honor of displaying a piece at the Texas Children’s Hospital, and auctioned two pieces at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. These experiences led to a scholarship at the Western Art Academy, and I later pursued formal training at the Maryland Institute College of Art.

After taking time off from school to explore my path, I joined my father’s remodeling company, where I embraced creativity through design, construction, and client collaboration. Many of our clients encouraged me to continue my artistic pursuits, commissioning pieces that helped solidify my passion for art.

In 2019, my partner and I moved to Colorado to begin a new chapter. Surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the American West and inspired by Denver’s vibrant art scene, I committed to becoming a full-time artist. My work draws deeply from my love of Western art and the breathtaking scenery that now surrounds me, blending tradition and personal vision to create art that resonates with others.
